[help] RAM Mermory

Hi! I was wondering if it makes much difference if I upgrade my laptop from 512 MB DDR to 1024 MB DDR?

In which aspects does my laptop improve mostly?

When I did that, my Windows loads a bit faster, programs are less sluggish, and the biggest improvement I noticed is that overall system performance improved, because since I had more memory, Windows had to use the swap file less, so I had fewer hard drive hits.

Yes, gaming will wind up being much better, especially if you have a video card that shares the general memory.
