I downloaded the most recent version of SysStats to my computer and unzipped it to my AveDesk 1.3 folder. Then when I went to add it as a desklet, the program crashed on me. I tried downloading it again and adding it again; same thing. Help please!

Um a little vague here? What config? Or were you trying to create a new one?
Are you trying to add systats as a desklet? what you need to do is download a systats config, install it, then you'll see the configs under systats in the add desklet panel. Judge's site is a great place to find configs.
