Is it possible to print from an Apple iBook to a printer connected to an XP box thru a wireless network?

Thanks

it's possible but I don't know how to do it. I've got the same problem as you.

The way i do it, is I just dont connect the printers to any computers directly, all the printers/scanners/faxes in my house are by themselfs and can be accesed from any pc/mac at all times :)

In other words, Facist uses a print server, which assigns the printer its own IP address.

If you're using a print server, then it should be fairly easy. Beyond that, I don't know much about it.

Sorry ;)

My printer is a HP PSC 1210. It can print, scan copy. Could I still scan things when it is on a print server?

@nc - yah, couldnt think of what it was called when making the post, i got this print server http://airlink101.com/products/apsusb201w.html and this router http://airlink101.com/products/ar525w.html plus the antennas on all were replaced to these http://airlink101.com/products/asb-8sma.html I can pretty much access my houses network from like 10 houses away :)

Open printer setup utility and try looking for it thru there. ;)

jeez printer setup? duh..whoda thunk it?

anyway, I doubt we're both retarded. in my case, my printer is usb-connected to a windows machine on the network. I can see the printer in the utility, but when I try to print to it, just a bunch of gibberish comes out, page after page after page.

Heh, I had this problem too. The airport connection has to be pretty high and don't print to the Bonjour printer. ;)

Well thats what worked for me.
