STOP POSTING PICS ON SPYMAC!!!
I have had NUMEROUS requests from that site asking me to keep you people in check and I am sick of hearing it, so...post another pic advertising our site, and I will start deleting accounts and banning IP's.
I'm serious.
If you keep doing this, they will shut us down, FOR GOOD.
And I know you people don't want that.
No kidding. I don't know why people keep posting pics and screenshots of emulation apps at Spymac. All they will tell you over there is that 1) Windows sucks and 2) Buy a Mac. But still the posts keep piling up.
I agree with Duckie- all you are doing by posting is drawing negative attention to this site. Spymac is frequented by Mac elitists who would LOVE to see this site shut down, so do the smart thing and lay low.
Just my $0.02, sorry if I sound as if I am repeating Duckie.

yeah i visit there today and that shocked me too. some guy named Arimatheia posted your dt KoL and he seems to like doing it too. i search his profile and all he has is pics of stuff on pc.
The guy who is posting pics of pc screenshots is Arimatheia. He is the author of the website macmotiva.com. Remember that website? I *think* its the person also known as Everaldo. Or he is a close friend of everaldo...
Anyway, I post alot of pc AND mac screenshots in Spymac, but I don't think it endangers Aqua-Soft in anyway. I have 2500+ posts in Spymac and am pretty well-known there, so people don't express (or very little) elitist attitude when they view my pics. You can check my gallery there..

Taha, your posts dont bother me. You own Mac(s), plain and simple, as do I.
My problem lies in the posts advertising where the apps/skins come from and creates a big rift which invariably leads to us.
I cannot tell you how many emails I get a week from people at SpyMac.

I personally don't think it endangers this site at all. Apple has known of Aqua-Soft for YEARS. If they wanted us gone, we'd be gone. SpyMac members have been pissed at this site for YEARS because of the skins and apps...and Im certain every new Mac guy with an attitude does report us to Apple.
Bottom line is we won't get in trouble just because of SpyMac. It would have already happened. Hell, I posted there while I was away from Aqua-Soft, and my posting there again will depend on what Duckie and I discuss.
I'll be damned if I can be told what I'm allowed to do at another website. However I respect Duckie, and for that reason alone Im not ranting. Yet. Please follow his guidelines out of respect.
Of course, I might be a little cocky because Apple tried to get my skins removed at wincustomize in 2001, legally, and they couldn't. So maybe I feel like the only man standing...
And of course, Im tired. I re-read Duckies post, and the meat of it is not to advertise Aqua_Soft in the screens. Thats smart. Follow Duckies request and ignore my entire post. I swear he must have edited it..

Everaldo is a well known artist in the Linux community, he made the crystal theme and the mandrake galaxy theme.

Because of the history of Windows posters there. They know it is our members. We're the largest site on the net for such merchandise. They're not dumb.
You can do what you want, I made a request to our members. Yes, I made it in a strong manner, but I'm sick of the rude emails I get daily from that site all because people want to show off on a Mac site.
There's The Hague for screenshots, there is here, there is AquaXP, there is DT2, there is NeoWin...why must people feel compelled to taunt other communities?
I have posted my SS on MacNN. I don't care what they think, and they have no impact on this site whatsoever. Plus i'm getting a mac so they must 'respect mah authoritah!' Alot of people ohh'd and Ahh'd over it, and I got alot of positive comments in my PM and email's asking how to achieve this. Most likely cause they were scared of the mac elitists, so they wouldnt post in the thread.
I don't think the occasional SS hurts, but if your just setting out to cause trouble, and repeatedly posting windows screenshots on a mac forum, well, common sense states they'll get an attitude with you.
I mostly post mine to prove a point to them, when they start their fud about windows being ugly.
