8ball Batch

I know this is gonna sound ghetto, but MD-DX doesnt support docklets, so anyway:

is it possible to make a bat file to do a magic 8 ball effect, like the docklet for Y'z. Wouldnt we just have to compile a bunch of different boxes w/ "fortunes" in them, and then you when you run the bat file, it execuates one of those programs randomly.

Someone tell me its possible, because im getting docklet envy.

Rest in peace, there's no Yiddish so it could not sound ghetto at all.

oy vey, always with the racist slurs. HEY, IM THE BIGOT AROUND HERE! :canadian:

So, maybe its not easy with a batch file, but couldnt a programmer easily make a random file picker program, and just make little boxes w/ fortunes in them. Im not a programmer, so I dont know if it is that easy.

You could use the iCal docklet that someone modified and just change all of the icon's to 8 balls with fortunes... then it would have a different fortune for each day... albiet the same one for each day of the month.

Other than that, I'm sure if you really wanted to you could play with the .bat file that iCal uses and make it work randomly.

Good luck.
