I will have a new theme for it and i have a idea.
Maybe i could show to someone this new theme, dark violet and someone would make a small intro in flash, short.
I don't know nothing about flash so if you maybe would like to show your work, who knows. I think it should be like new theme.

Hey there coxis! Sorry I haven't been in regular contact lately - work has been keeping me busy this week (probably for the next 2 weeks too 
)
I can do Flash work it you like - no probs, but generally I don't recommend splash pages. I find it is better if google can see actual HTML content when it gets to your domain. Users also get more annoyed with Flash content than they did 2 years a ago.
You'll also find that a lot of sites are steering away from splash pages - now most sites with splash pages are trying to sell something.
I would suggest:
* An HTML (WP-based) splash page that pulls data directly from your WP database. This way we can easily have accessibility as well as useful information of the page that auto-updates when you make new posts.
* Maybe we could slip some animated content into the actual wordpress template.
I probably won't be able to do any work this week or next week, but feel free to let me know your thoughts.
no dont do it! no flash intros! in fact, no splash/intro page at all!
splash/intro pages are one of the biggest mistakes you can make. their ultimate "cost" is one of creating an extra click (lag). and why would anyone want to do that when their ultimate goal is to get the user to their website/content?
i say spend the time/effort perfecting the site itself rather than expending time/energy on something that people will eventually find themselves clicking past with each visit.
just ask yourself what youll be doing time after time when you visit your own site? youll be clicking right past the intro page.
so.......i say do the web a favor dont do the splash/flash/intro thingy!
Maybe you folks have right. I think about it and maybe it is not a good idea at all.
But something like you wrote gtn,some animated contetnt to wordpress, maybe java script or flash would be nice.

I mean I'm 100% busy this week - work is really keeping me busy, so no time for side projects or any of my own personal projects.
I'll shoot you an email as soon as soon as I have some free time.
i don't think flash intros are good ideas, when i goto a site i wanna get right to the content not watch somethin hold me back...as a web developer i advice my clients to stay away from one...instead you can create a flash header on the main page or something, lots of alternatives, anyways jus my 2 cents 
Why dont you use sIFR flash text titles for your entrys and use some moofx effects for your comment boxes and stuff like that, would make the site look a lot more polished and interactive!

I must say i am not 100% convinced about that flash intro so for now i suspend it.
VERY GOOD! Topic and subject for discussions, I actually happened on this page from a WORDPRESS Blog looking for some flash header data to add to my own WP 1.5.2 blog before 1.6 is soon released. Well, since i am already a member here i thought it might behoove me to enter a comment as well as compliment.
