Aqua-Soft Forumsi forgot where r the dashboard preferances not in the control panel i what i'm asking
there was an option to select and deselect aal the widgets in which the dashboard icon opens up like a door

You find that in the Widget selector under Dashboard; enter Dashboard and then press the circle with the crosshair in it to bring up all your widgets; the dashboard widget is there (or you can press 'manage widgets' next to the cross when you press it).
