Hey guys, I just wanted some input on the avatar sizes on the forums.
Majority of the votes in this thread will make the final outcome on the decision.
Should avatars be resized from the max 128x128 to 72x72 or smaller?
Reason I ask this is, lots of people have huge 128x128 avatars, and they can make parts of the forum not look correct.
80x80 at the least please. 
72x72 is pushing it for some people. I'm also concerned about huge sigs that are thick. I don't care about the length being 500px.
80x80 96x96 are nice sizes - enough space but not huge as 128 IMO 
See here is hte new postbit, while 128x128px avatars fit, they would be kinda big.
Avatar in the pic is sized 72x72px, so you do the math.

Yep, no worries, the header of the current aquasoft will be the same on the new skin.
I'm designing the new skin off the basic vb3.5 layout, so anyone who uses the skin can customize it like MAD!
I would say 128 x 128. But try to make the border fixed. If people make smaller avatars the border won't resize with it to keep a uniform look. JMO
80x80 Is the best choice I think

80x80 maximum. Smaller the better.. No reason you need 128x128.
Smaller looks nicer in the forums and loads faster, a win both ways..
my vote goes to 96x96 maximum
I think 96x96 is good.
128x128px avtars make the forums looks like crap.

i think 128 can be a bit too large. do people even use 128 on their desktops o_o? 96 is quite a reasonable size decrease i think. btw, the new AS version is looking sharp!
72x72 or smaller is perfectly cool with me.
hmmm im fine with what ive got but smaller is always better as compat things are easily stacked

I can always resize my current one to fit whatever dimensions you allow.
I'm all for the smaller avatars, I actually turned off the display of avatars in the forum 'cause they were too big and messed up the display on my screen.
