hey guys noticed how nice the itunes widget is, was wondering if there was something like that for foobar2000...like a remote...and was compatible with the itunes skins...i mean it shouldnt be to hard i dont think...if i had any knowledge at all...like you could jus change from itunes to foobar...but i know nothing about it...anyway let me know if anyone knows of a foobar2000 widget.

Do u mean the avetunes? Yes,avetunes has the cdcover plugin for itunes, and can have a remote control. U can try Samurize for foobar,it also can give a remote control to Winamp and itunes

If foobar2000 supports com then the up coming Scripter will be able to do remote too.
okay...thanks.....what about gettin the buttons in your task bar....like where ur start menu is you know...like gettin play, pause, stop...and all that stuff into your taskbar...?
Just try TrueLaunchbar（abbr.TLB）,it can give u the remote bar on your taskbar,just like that appear on MAC

Foobar doesn't have a COM (scripting) interface - afaik, so it doesn't allow easily access to its information without installing an extra plugin inside Foobar.
Winamp has that problem as well, if I understand correctly. But, there is a person(s) that has made a COM/ActiveX interface plugin for it. I'll look it up...

I do feel that Winamp deserves support, as it's at least as popular as iTunes, if not more so.
Now, if you'd, or someone'd, be so kind as to write an AveAMP desklet.

Scripter is being worked on and i already linked pcm to the WinAmp COM plugin.

if you just want a desktop remote, like skin, use samurize and the same that controls itunes will control foobar... the itunes play.exe and such can be found w/ the search bar...
even with the winamp api emulator it still wont work since winamp needs the active amp plugin to work with avetunes to begin with.
but those that use winamp
