[help] Choosing a Mac

I'm just about to look around on ebay for a G4 powermac, I've got a limit of £350 and I've seen a cheap 450mhz g4. My questions are....

Performance wise how will this perform with mac osx tiger installed? I only want to use the machine for very basic functions such as office work, playing a few mp3's and videos here and there and more importantly I want to use osx and learn how to use it just for fun really, will this machine be ok?

Also the harddrive is pretty small (20gb) could I simply install a standard ide harddrive or does it have to be a mac harddrive?

yeah I would save a bit and just get a mini. I wouldnt buy that machine on ebay. It will run very very slow.
