Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I, for example place an item in the dock then exit, when I start Y'zdock up again it has gone. Any sort of changes I make that involve putting something in the dock will no longer be there when I re-start it. This is really annoying, as I spent most of my morning sorting out all my icons; and now they're gone :cry:
Anyone know what the problem could be?
I have never had that problem with any version of YzDock. Sounds like your itemlist.ini file isn't being created or saved properly. What permissions does the account you are using have on the directory where the Yzdock app is? It'll need write permission on that directory.
How do you exit the dock? Do you actually right click and exit. Or do you just shutdown your computer?
Because I have a problem where if I shutdown the computer without properly closing the dock, my items arent saved.
It happens when I right click and exit. Also, it happens everytime I switch my computer on. It jsut doesn't save.
It probably is my itenlist.ini not working. I just added something to do the dock , and nothing has been written to the itemlist.ini file. This is almost definetly the problem, so anyone know how to make it write to that file? 
What OS are you using? If Win2000 or XP what file system are you using (FAT or NTFS)? What's the permissions on the folder where the itemlist.ini file resides? I just tried deleting an item from my dock and the itemlist.ini file was updated without me having to close and re-open the dock.
Yay! I found out what the problem was. I had set the itemlist.ini file to Read-Only. Stupid me :shy:
Anyway, it works now. Thanks for your help
EDIT: Also, I found it won't write to itemlist.ini if it's set as 'hidden', which seems kinda strange. But don't worry, I've sorted it out now :rule:
