Isn't "AquaSoft" A Brilliant Name?

Just curious...what do you think of the name? I know it's been around for over two years now, yet it seems to have become a net standard. That's pretty amazing in my opinion.

It was a group thing. It was actually my second choice in the list of names we had voted for. I think my contribution to the list for site names was "Guys with BIG Docks.com" or something equally silly...of course, nobody voted for that. :6

I think CyCoPaTh and Disciple threw a few names back and forth and came up with AquaSoft.

Now that I'm thinking about it, whatever happened to Chris and Doug? They were pretty cool guys. Doug (Disciples) Christian based skinning site was the most original site I think I've ever seen - the best skins for a ton of apps, with the crappiest MIDI gospel music I've ever heard.

And Chris was almost always in a bad mood - my kind of fellow.

And Drakon...he was actually a very good skinner, although he rarely finished anything. Silly that...his Aqua skin was one of the best around for the longest time in terms of quality.

Of course, whats available today blows away anything offered in those simple days. That was back when we used sticks and rocks to make Windowblind skins, and had to hunt icons in the wild outdoors. Today we're civilized, cranking out docklets and skins with manufacturing line precision...

Aquasoft is okay. I have one question though, who is the webmaster of this site/board??? I remember Deadzombie's desktopX docks, they were the best. Before I joined, I used to hang out here for a while, Jef used to run the site then, and the apps were all his. Disciple, Cycopath, and other "oldies" were there. I too wonder what happened to them. Maybe Apple turned them Anyway what happened to Hyperbole, Grusic, and other guys that used to participate actively here???

The problem is here, is that you people never give the enough poll options. You give the options you want to here, but what if none of those options fits someone. I for one do not fit in any of those categories. I think the name is cool, but I wouldn't go as far as to saying it is amazing, and it is the greatest name ever.

Sounds like a personal problem to me...the name is obviously amazing, so why should we have to bend to your inability to recognize it as such?
