Is there any way to change the icons nexplorer uses? I'm not a huge fan of the ones it assigns to my drives and most of the folder icons have a jagged black edge along the top regardless of what size they're displayed in.
Icons in Nexplorer
From memory, as I don't have this installed anymore, nexplorer takes your icons directly from the shell upon first loading, so one option is to reshack shell32.dll in c/windows/system32, and replace the icons in there.
That's a pretty good option and means that all your icons will change easily after rebuilding the icon cache.
However, if you right-click on a folder, and selct properties, then click the customize tab, you can change individual icons like that. Similarly with drives, if you've got iconpackager installed, you can right-click on a drive and select icon tab, allowing you to do the same. As far as I remember though, you have to do each thing individually, unless there's a hack I've forgotten.
I think reshacking shell32 is your best option.
I'm fairly sure you can just drag whatever PNG icon you want over the icon you want to change/replace.

Oh, I think that's true. I forgot that it supported .png. Will that change all the folder icons at once though, or just each individually?
Each individually, but it's not too harmful to give it a try
. Or you can replace the default folder icon located in the NeXplorer folder root.
