Apple Speakers Connected Via Usb To A Pc ?
Very Simple NO
If you have a sound chip built-in the motherboard, you should have an out- plug (minijack) for sound. If you have a sound card PCI the same applies. I don't think you will get sound via USB unless there are some specific drivers for that AND the speakers have built-in circuitry to process that signal. Sounds very unconventional pumping sound via USB.
ok i think i can forget about it...too bad, that 2 apple speakers would look so pretty on
my desk :surfer_dude:
ok thx for preventing me buying them tomorrow <_<
have a nice weekend!
i have tried plugging the apple sound sticks into my laptop, and it worked just fine.. all the drivers were found ok, and away i went blasting sound... so here is one success story for using sound sticks with a PC.. just to make you think twice about buying sound sticks...
You can get a Soundblaster extigy (why exactly, I'm not sure).
You can then modify the nifty little round apple speaker plugs to bypass the chip. This takes a little bit of knowledge, a pair of needle-nose pliers, and another jack, though.
now i have really something to think about it

well well maybe i could...
thx for your advice anyway ![]()
