Getting Aquainted With Ob

Hello all,

I'm new to this area of modding and am having troubles with ObjectBar. On a Mac all your menu items( "File","Edit","View"...) are on the finder bar rather than the program it self. Is there any way to configure windows xp to do this?

Thank you,

Doug

hello and wellcome to the community :D , siwu is developing a little app that hides the windows menu, check this thread: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/index.php?a...t=3336&hl=ihide

if you have objectbar already, you don't need siwu's app, man.

"On a Mac all your menu items( "File","Edit","View"...) are on the finder bar rather than the program it self" --- this can easily be achieved through objectbar.

i assume you've already downloaded a finder for objectbar that resembles a mac.

if you have, all you have to do is right-click on the finder taskbar,

click on properties --- this should bring up the theme-editor.

Now, click on file --- a pop-up menu should appear,

select general options---- and put a check on the "hide menus of applications..."

hope this helps,

ice

Ok, got that. Cool. But It doesn't work in FIrebird, any ideas?

It won't work with alot of apps. Especially like CD burning apps and stuff like that. Alot of things will crash so you have to get used to that and then add them in the exlusion list. It's just the way it always has been, some apps are just made different. Mr. Aqua knows quite a bit about how objectbar handles stuff like that so I am sure that if you ask him he can give you a better explination of why it doesn't work with some stuff. I am pretty sure that it has to do with the language that it is programed in.
