I have OS X'ed my Windows PC and everything has gone well. Thanks to everyone for posting your stuff on Aqua-Soft.org this place rocks! I do have one little issue though. I used Flyakite OS X 2 for most of the OS X modifications. I have checked both explorer and shell32 both contain all of the OS X icons. My problem is that Explorer continues to use the XP style alert icons. Is there a way to fix this?

Alert icons? Like in the dialog boxes? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of those images are imbedded in the dialog box that happens to be associated with the dll or whatever. They don't come from the shell32 file.
As far as I remeber these icons are stored in user32.dll. But beware - this dll is locked for editing during windows session. Copy it to another folder, modify, then use LiveCD, WinPE, ERD Commander or anything else to replace old file with new one.

I have some OS X Icons that I can use in the dll to replace the ones in the dialogs, what program would you suggest I use to replace the Icons in the dll files? I have tried using VisualStudio.NET but it's icon editor isn't that great considering is doesn’t support alpha blending and all that fun stuff.
Reshacker will allow you to replace the icons in the .dll file.
Those icons ARE in user32.dll. However, I recommend being EXTREMELY cautious with this file. The one reason it is not hacked by FlyakiteOSX is that I found it crashed the SP2 test system I tested FlyakiteOSX with (actually it blue screened before xp). So I figured I'd rather leave those icons unedited than cause users systems to crash.
You may get it to work, but you've been warned 
The icons used to replace the originals must have exactly the same sizes in them as the current icons, otherwise it's safe-mode time, and many hours of crying and swearing. For some reason you will also have a better chance of success if you use exescope, and oversave the file directly, ignoring the WFP message that you get, rather than using reshack and then replacer.
If it all goes wrong, and you find windows won't boot, use the f8 menu to return to the last good system configuration, and, 9 times out of 10, you'll be ok.
Just think though, before you do it, how often you see those icons, and whether the risk is worth the benefit.

knowing the risks stated by flyakite, who is an excellent coder and really knows his stuff, i agree with this statement. better to be safe than sorry afterall. just in case though, might want to make a backup of your important data, so you'll have everything if you end up having to reinstall Windows or something.
