Ebay Theme Sales...
Did you try contacting Ebay with the news that someone is trying to sell your intellectual property? See what they'll do--I'm no lawyer, so I'm actually not quite certain that it's defined as intellectual policy, but just see what Ebay has to say.
[Edit: I also see, in the fourth column and second row of the wallpapers section, a wallpaper that one of our members released. Something like "seasons," or similar to that]

Its actually a devARTist that made the seasons one... they may have modded it though. regardless, this is the umpteenth time this has happened, and its already been mentioned on neowin, no doubt someone there will deal with it.

actually, if you really wanted to get the guy, you could sick Microsoft on his ass. one of the themes in the SS is (or appears to be), is an XP port/mod of the Royale Media Center Edition theme. i don't think they would be happy to find that a lickness of their theme was being sold on eBay....

i find the fact that a person is actually selling those things to be pretty disgusting. it subverts the whole idea of the theming community >.<.
i sent him an email with a legal threat of me contacting microsoft about how he is trying to profit off their hardwork by including a modded media center theme, i hope that helps. Do we have any lawyers?

i think what should be questioned more than anything is wahts is the rest of the stuff that is on the DVD.
I mean, he's proberly got all the walls off dA and customize.org and alot of the best themes.
so he's proberly ripped off alot more people than we can tell

@smoovie that's an interesting point. i don't think any of the themes in that SS he provided are Windowblinds themes, but it's hard to tell since they are so small; but i guess there are probably some on a huge DVD. also, i'm wondering if there do happen to be Stardock products on there, if the guy went further into law breaking by including sereal numbers and whatnot.
