[Tutorial] Borderless VS

that doesn't entirely work for msstlye users....it messes up the transparency and also makes youi have to edit the image backgrounds for borders

edit: having seen the screenshot i still dont believe you...your using an app to cover upp the crappy transparency that you get when doing this by adding a shadow there instead...why not try to disable the shadow app and see what happens

umm this isnt anything ground breaking... 0 px borders have been around for ages. But it does look nice :D The reason that most people (myself included) choose not to make them true 0 px is becuase it really makes applications suffer usability wise. Opx borders make it very difficult to resize most windows.

Do you have any links?

Ive never come across 0px borderles VS

I agree its not really practical for usability reasons but if it looks better that's all that matters to me :)

I dont know of any links off hand cause I dont have my winnie box anymore. Nice tutorial though ;) I never released any of the opx wb themes that I made because of the usability issues. Least I dont think I did. LOL

Come on guys this is OLD. I havn't been around long and even I've been through literally dozens of msstyles with 0 and 1 px borders. It's like I've entered the twilight zone!!! I guess the saying that if your on the net long enough old becomes new. Having said that dobee nice guide. Personally I prefer 1 px borders around my windows as you still have the ability to resize at all edges also doesn't look to unlike 0 px with a nice shadow.

I believe here is where it was first documented, "5/23/03 - Initial Release"

This is not rocket science and it works, no magic involved; what the hell is going on here?!?! Download iBar6 theme and see for youself; not hard.

Here is a screenshot of my current desk with 1px border windows.
