Skin Patch for MSN Desktop Search

Hi

I'm currently finishing off a skin patch for msn desktop search. Editing most of it has been fairly easy, just redoing bitmaps and replacing icons with osx ones instead. However, two elements of its display have completely stumped me.

If anyone knows (or cares) where the bitmaps for these are, or where the code is located that dicatates the colour or gradient, I'd be really interested in hearing from you. Excuse the size and quality of the images, and my appaling "paint" handwriting in the first.

I wonder if a mod would be kind enough to move this thread to Application Skins, and chastise for being stupid and blind.

I've done it twice, but I thought that perhaps some people here might just know the answer, particularly those working on search apps that take advantage of existing search facilities like msn and google.

It's no excuse though, so sorry.
