Flyakite Breaks iTunes 5 & 6
Worked fine for me.
well i install flyakite 2.0 and reboot. then i install itunes 6 and whenever i try to play a music file/ movie or anything else i get the application must close and the fault is in itunes.exe i have tryed the standalone quicktime installer fix and no go. although if i uninstall flyakite itunes works no questions asked.
not to be an jerk or anything, man, but how about using a less alarmist title?

My suggestion: Uninstall a little bit at a time. First, uninstall only the registry tweaks. Restart. Does it work now? No? Uninstall the Extras. Does it work? No? Uninstall Shell32. Then move onto just DLL files. Then EXE. Then CPL. Etc.
While yes, this process isn't as quick as uninstalling everything, but it will help us find out why it is happening, and that's the only way for me to fix it if it's due to my program.
Seriously. I seond Blankface on this one. The title in your thread is bordering on libelous. Fewer have done as much for OSX emulation as Flyakite. Indeed most, nay, all here are eagerly awaiting the release of the newest version. I realize you are new (I am, too, relatively), but why not search before posting. If Flyakite really didn't work with iTunes you'd think there would have alrady been a post about that, no?

itunes crashes every time it's started? this happened to me as well when i upgraded from itunes5 to itunes6. a complete uninstall of itunes and quicktime along with some registry cleansing solved it. i don't think it had anything to do with flyakite (even though i've had it for ages).
well i tried to revert to the system restore point set by the flyakite installer and now my explrer.exe and shell32.dll and other dll and exe files keep popping up and needing to close due to an error..... i must reinstall the os .... erm .... i guess i will wait forflyakite 3.0 and hope that fixes it all
i guess our friend couldn't be bothered to read our posts.
IT'S NOT A FLYAKITE ISSUE. sheesh.
