[Help] Screenshot caption.

I have make this sysstats config (see image).

Is a sortcut to my computer with too images.One with the monitor(back) and one with the desktop(top).

What I want to know is if there is a way to change the "desktop" image by running some script or program that take a screenshot of the desktop, resize and save it in a png format?

Constantly updating? Most people who do it just take a screen, resize it in Photoshop, and superimpose it.
