[Help] Trillian 3.1

I have this problem in Trillina 3.1 (Basic or Pro, I get the same problem)

If I have anything to do with teh skin changed, so it isn't the default, when the splash screen fades out, it onyl fades half way and crashes. And I can't get in to change the skin back to teh default! :confused:

Please help!

Still the default skin, just changing it to the tabbed interface.

I get the same error when I use Danimator's iChat 3.1 skin.

sounds like a corrupt install. Uninstall, clear your registry of all entries, and manually remove anything left in the programs folder, then re-install and see if you get the same problem.

Have you edited the splash in reshack or resedit at all/

Maybe because of WinFX (shadow)? 'Cos mine crashes if I add shadows to trillian

may i ask why, is you have BOUGHT the Pro version, you would even be trying this on the basic version?

evolvedmatt, It's always worth a try.

I am using WinFX and Yz Shadow, So I'll try disabling them.

Otherwise, I'll do a complete uninstall.

Too late to do it now. Tomorrow I will.
