Here's an early Beta skin I'm working on based on Apple's iChat messenger proggie. Still early beta, and before I release it, I still gotta get the origrinal author's permission, as I used another skin and code as a template. Will keep ya posted.

looks cool, can the scroll bars be changed? to be more similar? Anyway I realy like the way it looks right now, keep us updated and please dont forget to let us know when do you release it.

Looks good so far, but I reccommend looking at some real screenshots of iChat so you can get the button placement right on top.

nothing really to code..its just background in a right-click options while the application is running.
See its just that most of the skins i saw so far, dont have transparent icons in the buddy list. So if i choose to add a background in the buddy list (a bmp) you could see that the images, (in most of the skins i tried so far: e.g. buddy icons, client icons) have a white background around them.
So basically is there a way to make the buddylist images support transparency?

does the original ichat have an aqua skin to it? if so then great (Y) , but if not, then lets continue with the production of the ichat skin and worry about other skins later

Time for my first board post on this skin...
We are planning on getting this brushed one done first. On a Mac, (correct me if I am wrong, I am getting one in 2 months though :-D), when you have Stripes as your style, iChat is brushed by default. I thought I'd start this one first since it is the easiest to get screenshots and also a lot of people use stripes, therefore... 
And I do plan on working with Dan to maybe get a few more styles of this out here soon, like Smooth Stripes and Cappucino maybe? We'll need screenshots though. :-D
cool stuff dude but i got just 1 request for u that if u could get chat bubbles (as in a real i chat) instead of normal text as we hav in trillian,apart from that u rule :rule:

Bubbles are impossible in trillian, therefore we can not do em...you can turn them off in ichat anyways :canadian:

Maybe after we are done this skin, we might add alternate button colors, etc. But we still have a ways to go before we are done this skin...I've just about finished all the resizing of windows,etc, as well as the buddy list, so just waiting on Tony to finish the stuff he's supposed to be working on. Will keep ya all posted.
