[help] file recovery

Hey guys,

I've just downloaded some files using ABC, however, on finishing I right clicked and went to Remove Torrent and Files instead of Remove Torrent. And so, I've lost the files that I have just been downloading.

Does anyone know if there is a temp directory with these in, or are they completely gone.

note: they're not in the recycle bin.

I am pretty sure that they are gone. Unless you use an advance file recovery program (which can recover purged files) they are not comin' back.

Thanks, I managed to find a free file recovery program which saw the files, however the majority of them were in bad condition and could not be recovered. Look's like they're not coming back. Thanks anyway.

Remeber in future that if you want to recover a file, do it asap and try not to save anything to the drive - there is a very high possibility that he new data will overwrite the dat that you want to recover.

Yeah, I did to it asap, but I first had to get hold of a file recovery program. I did download this to my Sony HD3, but I guess installing the program might have messed with somefiles.
