Nice. Does anyone know if Front Row works on other Macs?
it does not atm.
it's based on Infrared (like the other (good, old) remote-controls) and afaik no other mac has infrared.
maybe you can use it with the new universal dock which can be bought for the new ipod, but I'm not sure if you can connect the dock to your imac.
and the software is not for release/nor offered in the stores.
- damn, it's the only thing I wanted to have for my imac
oohhh...wow!
All the rumours were that apple was releasing the video ipod at some announcement yesterday, but that was denied...
and this is what we got instead...
cant say I am dissapointed.
This rocks.
edit: I take that back!!!
Video iPods are here!!! check out www.apple.com

btw guys, if you guys wanna "save a couple of dough" just go to the education store. it'll save you about 30 bux on the ipod, and like 100 bux on imac. they don't check for validation (honor system.. how lovely) so just insert your school (or previous school attended). if you attend high school, just "act as if youre a teacher" and go for that 100buck discount.
1599 for that imac 20 in, 369 for ipod60
