cd and dvd drives not showing

I went to clean the dust off the heatsink on my cpu, that went fine.

then i rebooted to see if the temps had gone back to normal, they had.

anyway, i stupidly thought about OCing, done it before. anyway i messed that up and had to re-set the CMOS, so i did that on the motherboard, and everything was fine.

untill i noticed my cd rom and dvd drives wern't showing in explorer.

there just gone. no idea what happened, now i can't see them in the hardware list on the system options on windows..

i've got WinXP SP2

a WinFast K7NCR18DLM (gonna upgrade sometime soon)

a Asus CD-RW

and a Philips DVD-RW

you won't belive this, without even touching the ribbon cable, i managed to unplug it from the motherboard :|

o/ had that happen to me before, but this time it was with a floppy disk drive
