I am going to start on this project very soon. (Probably today

I am going to make a mod of OpenOffice to look like apple iWork.
I would just like some help with coming up with the names for each application:
Confirmed Idea
Writer - Pages
Calc - Spreadsheets ?
Impress - Keynote
Draw - ?
Base - ?
Math - ?
What do you guys think I should name each app?
Also, would you prefer a mod of a stable version or 2.0 beta? (Or wait untill 2.0 comes out to start the project)

hey mate! first off great idea, i must say! hopefully if u mod for 2.0 beta it should hold stable for 2.0.. cant wait for ths!
i've been waiting for somebody to do this for a long time... either this or just appleOffice-ing or plain aquarizing OpenOffice... but that's beside the point...

I think the original names sound OK! 
But an aqua-flavoured OOo would be nice, I've been thinking about making the switch and this might just make me want to do it that little more...
No other ideas?
One thing, Math will NOT stay the same - you see I am Australian, and I hate that word, math. It is Maths - with an S!!!
It comes from teh word mathematics, which ends with an S so the sghortened one still should...

The main focus is for it to be as similar looking to iWork as possible, which means it will have the same names as iWork for the equivilent apps, which is only two of them anyway.
Calc MUST be changed to. It sounds very missleading. I was thinking either Spreadsheets or Charts.
For Draw and Base, They might be able to stay. For math, i was thinking maybe Formula or something....

2.0 RC has been released, so you could do it for that!

Guys, Because of the way OpenOffice is made, It can not be Reshack'ed easily. You can only access Icon and RCData, which is bad.
I am getting eXeScope, an alternitive to reshacker. But if eXeScope doesn't work, I will NEVER give up! OpenOffice is opens-ource, therefore I could get the source and mod it alot more than you usually could, recompile it and release it.
enjoilax - thanks for the suggestions, I'll probably use Canvas and Equate. Canvas sounds somehwta farmiliar though. Is that the name of an app in KOffice?

Honestly: No freaking clue. 
I wouldn't be surprised if they call it Kanvas though.
So far this is what I'm going to call them:
Writer - Pages
Calc - Spread pr Spreadsheet(s)
Impress - Keynote
Draw - Canvas
Base - ? (stay the same)
Math - Equate
Base = Shapes?man i don't know.
I think it will be hard to mod OpenO, i cannot find out where sources of icons are stored ( Restorator, Exesscope) Did you get resources already? ( I have full resources of Keynote, uncompresed 40mb , with tempaltes 140 mb )

As for modding it, I'm getting teh source code and modding it with M$ Visual Studio.
I think I might keep the name Base. Too hard to think of an other one, but then again we coudl do what M$ do, get a random word and use that

zachriggle, I think it kinda did. My computer semi-died recently and I only just got it working again. I am in the process of building a new one.
I will probably start on this project once I have finished building my new computer and when OOo 2.0 final comes out.
i think I might just go with Query for Base.
