Microphone Speakers/Amplification, help needed

What's the best way to amplify a microphone for a rehearsal room ?

what speakers/monitors/amplifiers should I use ?

I already have a Mackie mixer and a Shure beta 58 microphone

or maybe U guys can direct me to a site that has a forum where they can give me more info on this...
