Definately the one with the cinema display, if they are all the same price. You will fell in love with the display.

I'd go for performance rather than the display, but thats just me, so my vote goes for the iMac.

Hi,

Thanks for the replys , the diference between the imac display and the cinema display is very visible ? What are the most strong points of the cinema display ?

Thanks

PS - Sorry for this questions, but i really like to hear from u all that have mac :)

Big, wide screen, high definitons, cool shape but still cannot compete with Sony;)

the 20" is not considered HD, at least not by apple. IMO the only advantage is size, and viewing angle, but thats just me.

Edit: opps blah blah sorry! :o

Only the 23" and 30" have the designation of "HD", so again I say that for the price, the iMac won't let you down, plus the better gpu, and extra processing power, will make your mac *last* longer.

Hi,

Thanks, for the replys, here in my country the diference between 20" and 23" is huge :( , i think im going to stick with iMac then, its a all in one, already with keyboard and mouse :)

What keyboard and mouse do you recomend ? or the ones that come with iMac are good ?

Another thing, i want to buy a pair of sound columns and i see that apple have a goods ones, is a good buy or you ppl recomend others ?

Thanks

Bye :)

Sound columns are good, but nothing beats the jbl creature speakers for the price+sound+design, as for the keyboard, id get an apple pro keyboard and a mighty mouse, but the ones that come with it are very good too (but definately get the mighty mouse, as its two buttons and youll need it regardless of what apple says)

My vote goes for iMac too. Performance over big ass display :P

Hi,

After i talked to some people and read your opinions, i decided to get this hardware :

iMac G5 (default config) + 1Gb ram

Sound Sticks 2 from Harman Kardon

Mighty Mouse

iPod Nano 2Gb

and maybe iSight (not yet decided, do you know a camera cheaper than this and good too ? )

I think the Cinema Display 20" is awesome, but not worth of the diference in hardware between Mac Mini and iMac G5.

Thanks for all the opinions :D

Bye

Sounds like you made a good choice...but maybe drop the iSight and get a apple keyboard?

Hope you enjoy it!
