[request] AveDesk text file reader

Good morning all,

I noticed that in Samurize there is an option that allows you to read the contents of a text file (.txt). Is there anyway that we can come up with an avedesk widget that does this. I would do it but my knowledge of coding is minimal (although I'm currently learning to).

I don't know of an AveDesk widget to do this, but Ave did write a little proggie called AveText that is a nice little aqua-ish notepad. You could try searching for that on the forum.

There is already a Speak desklet. It's been out for a year or so.

Right , I realize that but I was thinking more of a widget that will take the contents of a .txt file and display it on the desktop and not "speak" the contents of it.
