I have been searching the net for a couple of hours now for an icon suitable to be used for TOR (The Onion Router). Has anybody else found one that has been eluding me, or made one that they would like to share? I'm not necessarily only looking for onion icons, but any icon that suggests anonyminity would be perfect as well.

There are tons of icons out there that suggest anonymity--you interpret each one how you want it.
Is there anything specific you want? A Safe icon? A network connections icon with a lock on it? A guy with a black mask on?

Quick pngs made with random modified images off the net. Nothing to write home about but at least you have an icon. 
Hm... as an alternative, what about an onion that has a `ghost' effect applied to it? I'm not capable of making it, but I think it would look cool.

Any of those would suffice wonderfully (and now that you mention it, the network conn. with a lock on it would work, and even I could do the tiny bit of image manipulation needed to make that).

Use iConstructor (or even Photoshop) to put the small lock icon together with anything you want.
I've also enclosed a few of the default network icons for OS X, and nearly every popular set these days has one.

Thanks for those icons!(especially for not giving me a bunch of ICO's). I particularly like the Network-007 icon. Pretty nifty looking, especially when grayed out with a shrunk-down bronze lock badge on it ;-).
