Shortcut to Explorer with Navigation Pane?

Hi :-)

well, i have a problem. I want a Shortcut-Desklet on my Desktop via Avedesk. It's supposed to open Windows Explorer in F:, showing the remaining space on that drive in the sublabel.

Problem is, that a normal shortcut pointing to F: opens Explorer without the navigation-pane on the left side, but i want navigation. I can fix this by pointing to C:Windowsexplorer.exe and adding arguments "/e,F:". But now I'm pointing to a file, not a drive, and Avedesk doesn't let me show the remaining space on F.

Any suggestions for this?

Don't use these types of shortcuts myself but, had no problem creating one to my C:, floppy, cd-rom,DVD_R, and a Jumpdrive.

I created the shortcuts manually from within the control panel and must also point out that I'm running a finderbar tweak/hack. Though don't think that should matter as it works instead of Explorer.

But I cant get it to show drive size nor even work in avedesk. Works fine for new windows desktop shortcut though.

That would open the C: drive not the F: drive.

Wanted to ask one more thing. Do you have your default folder settings for F: set to Explorer? That may be all you need to do.
