I've been a member here for a very long time and have seen this place disintigrate into mindless banter from time to time, but lately it's just been stupid.

I changed my title for a reason. Everyone here is trying to be so politicaly correct that it just makes me sick. So I've decided to just say what I feel is appropriate and if feelings get hurt then so be it. And I do and have publicly and openly apologized whan I have been wrong or treated someone unfairly. Hey... no body is perfect... including me

It's called life kids... deal with it. And to all those with an overblown case of entitlement syndrome, (we call them rippers) grow up. Life is not fair, you can't always have what you want and people don't give a crap about your feelings or what you think you should be allowed to have or do.

I miss the time when this place was all about skining and creating works of art and respecting others wishes as to what can be done with that work.

It's part of the reason I don't contribute very much anymore. I'll just stick to doing canned stuff for the board and leave the cool stuff I make to myself.

It's nice to see rants that are, for the most part, spelled correctly .

But yeah, colraff: You're completely right--this is a forum for customization, not ventilation. Sometimes people just need to calm down, spend a little time in the real world .

huh? Not at all rj, you seem pretty even tempered to me.

I wasn't trying to take a jab at anyone at all... just extremely rare cases that pop up from time to time.

Customizing sites do tend to be way more pc than other sites in general, but on the + side, it does cut down on the forum bloat caused by flamewars.

I haven't been following A-S as closely lately though, and read only topics that I am really interested in (multiplugin/ave/specific skins + icons/rk progress). I tend to just ignore most gen. discussion threads, so maybe I'm too out of the loop to know what the state of A-S is.

I have no problem with brutally honest either - never have, never will...
