AveDesk on Windows2000

Even if you installed Serivce Pack 4 and use latest FireFox, you will need a copy of GdiPlus.dll and TO UDATE YOUR IE TO VERSION 6 , otherwise AveDesk will say "Runtime error"

You need a file GdiPlus.dll which is available from microsoft.com , or copy it from a package of ObjectDock

Copy it to the folder of AverDesk or into your windows folder.

After that don't forget to update your Internet Explorer to 6.x version and have fun.

I have updated the gdiplus dll, but still i can't use some fonts, even if they are true type...

for example this one:

it's the same here in the office and at home, a lot of fonts don't work for me ...

Do you have any idea?

OpenType fonts (ending with .otf) are a problem for GDI+.

Use TrueType fonts instead (ending with .ttf).

as you can read i already know about the open type thing.

The font i highlited before comes in a zip with both the .otf and the .ttf.

And the .ttf also doesn't work for me.
