Hey, when I open Outlook 2003 (configured POP3 with Gmail) it freezes for about 45 seconds and then works normally. I wouldn't really care because it works but its kind of annoying lol. Anyone have any ideas?

well... lets ignore the last post.
I tell you what, i had no big problems so far with gmail, perhaps you need to reconfigure the POP mail with gmail. But if you dont really care, then why bother ^^

Haha i don't care in that i can still get my email, but i'd rather have it be a little faster. it freezes on "getting outlook:today" so i think the calendar file is corrupt
Set your default view to "Inbox", or just rebuild the account in Outlook.
It does sound like the profile is "hosed".

yep, profile was messed up. i did 'detect and repair' and that fixed it lol, didn't know microsoft made it that easy (except you have to have the installation cd which was hard to find)
