Help Me Please!

Alright, I think I somewhat screwed up my computer....

It was working fine before I began modding

I think what did it was when I replaced the system .dlls

Symptoms/What's wrong with it:

1) I open the run command. I type "regedit". The regedit screen flashes then disappears.

2) Same thing happens as above, only with msconfig

3) A friend made a reg entry file for me, and when I open it the 'Accept' Dialogue flashes then disappears

4) I downloaded an image, instead of 'Saving file..." I said "open". After the download completed, my computer attempted to open the file in the default windows XP previewer, the previewer opened, then closes suddenly.

I'm running on Windows XP operating system.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? PLEASE HELP!!!

i can only answer to 4, i remember i had this prob, you have to go in the internet properties in the config panel then seek an option named something like "restore default settings...

hope it hepled a bit, but you seems to have toughest prob than this one
