[help] Indesign - white text on white background

I've got a problem with Indesign CS (also CS2).

All text in the Program is nearly white ... on my white backgrounded WB - Tiger-Skin (Steve Grenier Version).

This Problem doesn't exist in Photoshop and Illustrator nor in any other software - it appears only in Indesign.

Exluding Indesign from being skinned (in WindowBlinds) doesn't work either.

BTW nearly every text is in white - the on in the toolboxes on the right side; the one in the Dialogs; even the in the font-popdown-menues.

Anyone had this problem or knows a sollution ???

Would be cool if anybody could help me, because Quark has an awfull workflow.

have you tried it with other tiger themes; for example, the tiger WB theme by kol? id suggest trying this to see if it's the theme, and not the program. since it would take a grand total of about 5 minutes, it certainly can't hurt :).

I think it has something to do with the theme. If you have skinstudio, you can easily edit the colors of the fonts used in the skin.

No... it appeas with all skins, i've tested. I'm pretty sure, that it has something to do with the "classical windows colors" to which windowblinds switches when activated. But its not an editable attribute (within the displaypref. - dialog).

I think i've to go on with good'ol quark or kick my windowblinds... hmmmm... or buy an mac.

Can't you just add InDesign to the excluded list in WindowBlinds?

nope, doesnt work, cause then it has the classical colors of windowblinds...

i would nee the standard classical colors of windows (the grey with the blue titlebar) - but that's not possible AFAIK.
