Could you post your systemspecs? Especially if you're having an ATI or Nvidia card (got an ATI here and there's some really weird speed bug, radu knows about it, but I'm investigating it because I want to know what's happening also).
No problem:
- AMD Athlon 64 3400+ @ 2,4 GHz
- ATI Radeon 9800 SE @ 256 MB
- 1 GB DDR400 RAM
On my ATI it just runs fine...
It was a driver bug I think. 5.5 -> no problem, 5.6 -> problem, 5.7 -> problem, 5.8 -> no problem.. sigh 
why isn't this kind of stuff mentioned in the changelogs. Well radu can sleep safely again

Is there a reason to post this WITHOUT talking about development, times for release, and more?
I mean it IS fabulous and all, but...I'm sort of confused as to whether this is even going to be released and if so...how soon.

The Aladin's Lamp minimizing effect is so smooth. Is RKLauncher now hardware accelerated?
I mean, does it use the VGA card now?
I don't really care too much about the effects. I would much rather have "never minimize to RK" working.

i've been using the 0.4 Beta build 152 for quite some time and just love it ^^. i don't use RK Launcher as a taskbar replacement, so the new effects etc don't matter that much to me, but it's nice to see you're still working on it!

Raduking is doing a great job with his program, look at this thread for example, and he know he have already to add an exclusion list, so be patient boy.
WOW! 
Looks amazing, tbh the only thing that has held me back is Firefox to be minimized to dock like all other apps. Is this going to be fixed for the next version. If it is I will drop objectdock in an instant!
