[release] iJect 1.0

Ejectad.jpg

Finally, after countless betas, we arrive with the first version of iJect.

iJect is a program that replicates the ejecting cd tray of a Mac. In this version you can use hotkeys to link to multplie disco trays, and also a replica of the Mac system tray icon is also an option.

Read the ReadMe for instructions and more explained features!

#315531

Thanks, took a while but i got there :)

#315535

wow, man. you surely did not **** around with adding features. it was good before. it's great now. thx!

#315537

You think i would give it all away in preview releases :P

#315538

could you tweak the app so when you press 'f12' for instance you open and when you press it again it closes? no need of the automatic close at x time (i believe). Just like the mac works.

#315548

I can do that, but because there isnt a call to tell if the draw is open or not, the program could get confused when the user opens the tray itself, then calls a hotkey and it will try and open it. I suppose i could do it in the next release, shouldnt be too much of a problem.... I just find automatic closes are actually easier when you want to put a disc in, try t out.

#315557

I like it a lot, the features are great! Good work :)

wow! ya da bomb!

You have successfully created what everyone wanted...to everyone standards...and thats something.

Thanx for allowing assignable hot keys...nice feature. going to download isound (or whatever you called it) now.

Wow, thanks technominds, great work. I actually share my Apple Pro Keyboard between my Mac and PC so I am just wondering if it as all possible to assign the actual eject key (located above the number pad next to the volume keys) to the apps preferences? Obviously it might not be possible as its probably an unrecognised function key within Windows, but hey, I can ask ;)

Small Problem there - the control panel doesn't really work on my high-Res-Display - with my 120 dpi configuration some of the buttons are out of the panels boundaries and unreachable.

Version 2.0 (aswell as iSound 2.0) will all have 1-time-only settings. For now, im sorry but you will have to make do.... dont worry though... version 2.0 of both apps are well underway!

#316470

can this be embedded in the ObjectBar "eject" button?

#337532

you can customize object bar to link to whatever you want it to. I'm not familiar with this program, but im assuming its an exe, so you can simply designate the eject link to that app...

if i'm incorrect, im sure someone with barrage this with reasons why

hi, these apps are amazing, but like zacks said, is it still available? I've read so much about the 2.0's but have not seen anything. I did see that tminds was looking for beta testers (like overa a year ago though) so whats the deal? I hope the apps are still there, they are amazing!
