Just an idea for dialogue-animation

Hey guys

I was just thinking about the nice sheet-animation of OS X. For example: if you want to save a document a sheet comes in. As we all know (at least I hope so ) sheets do the same as dialogues in Windows do.

And in OS X you have this nice roll-down / roll-up animation on sheets if it comes in and goes away.

Well, this is already possible with WindowFX on Windows, I know. But, you can't tell him only to animate open/save/print-dialogues. (Only by setting a maximum window-size, but this means that small windows get also animated).

Is there any one of you out there, who would have interest to write an app, that is able to do kind of an animation like this for dialogues?

I know, it would be more an eye-candy app - but I'm sure this would look really great

That can't be too hard. email stardock about that one, they'll surley add it into the next version.

Sry for bumping this thread,but I am really interested if someone would be able to do this?

However,I think this animations are just with apples quarz engine possible either way it would use too much ram

to render this whole animation.For people who do not understand what this effect is , in this video u can see the animation
