[help] Editing compressed exe files' resources

I use ZoomPlayer and want to edit its ultra ugly tray/taskbar icon. But any app i use gives me "cannot edit compressed exe files" error.

Tried ResHacker, ExeScop, both gave me the same error.

Any way around this?

Can't you save the file elsewhere and then replace it using replacer?
