Changing Appearance

Hey everyone. This has been bugging me for awhile and I hope I can fix this. I'm running Win XP. In those open dialogue boxes, how can you edit the icons that show up as shortcuts on the side? Here's an example of what I mean...

I tried Icon Packager but that didn't seem to do the trick.

I also would like to know if anyone knows how to change the smaller icons when in a list view. Here's what I'm talking about...

This happens whenever I'm in list view, or viewing the icons in a stem format. I was able to change the larger versions of the icons using Icon Packager, but I can't seem to change the smaller ones.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks guys!

hmm, well, for me, those changed when i replaced the shell32.dll file. maybe they're contained in there.

IconPackager changed them for me.
