MyDesk (remove tasks from taskbar)

Hi all,

I've noticed a number of people that are running the various dock programs, but, who also display the running tasks in their taskbar. I''m guessing that some people don't know how to get rid of them. So, I'm attaching a little program that I have been using for a number of years that will take care of the problem: MyDesk

Just Unzip into the folder of one's choice and execute. It's pretty easy to figure out.

Hi! I have a question...

What run MyDesk when the system starts?... I try put this in startmenu (startup) but the settings don´t run.

hmm, is there any way to do this without running a program? Most of MyDesk's options can be set directly in the registry, but I couldn't find a way to hide the tasks from the taskbar (without a tool like MyDesk).

There is none. But if you follow the "TaskbuttonRemover" link at my sig, there's a smaller app that removes the task buttons and exits. Running it again will restore it.

thanks, without a registry setting, your program is exactly what I need :)
