A few Questions about Icons & Styler TBar

Hi Guys, Not sure if this has been posted. I did skim through the threads but i didnt manage to find anything. Apologies if i missed it.

Anyway, I would like to know how is it possible to remove the small icon that appears in the top left corner of any open windows?

You will see it now as you are viewing this page. Look to the top left corner of IExplorer and you will see it.

Is there anyway to remove that?

In Styler, as far as i know, non of the toolbar buttons take you to the "Tools" tab that you have in windows. For instance Tools -> Folder Options. Is this the way it is or am i missing something?

I Like to hide the Explorer menu and just keep the Styler toolbar but it just means that i have to reopen and untick the option to hide the menus in exporer everytime i want to access folder options for windows and its getting annoying.

Also, Is there a way to customise the Styler google search function so that instead of searching google in Japan it would rather search google in the UK ?

Unfortunately I can only answer the first part of your question, regarding window icons. Actually I did find this thread on it, but I know there's another one that I've read >_< (perhaps it was on deviantART or something though lol...). Anyway, there are probabblly only three ways to do this, and none of them involve the use of .msstyles or Styler Toolbar.

1. Manually hack the icons in the programs you use on a regular basis with a program like Resource Hacker or ResEdit to either show a blank space, or show a modded icon of your choice. This is time consuming, but I've seen systems successfully modded in this way and the end result is fantastic. (look at this guys desks for example, he hacks everything.)

2. Use a shell replacement. I don't know anything about this method, but am only listing it because others have in the past. You'd have to do some research into them.

3. Use Windowblinds, which offers much more versatility in customizing Windows than Styler does. A lot of Mac emulation themes, like Tiger ports, or original themes like RULER and Samui have Windowblinds versions with left-sided glyphs (true to a Mac), that effectively hide the window program icon. (Note: I am not a WB user)
