Back to topic: Is your broadband the one with the dialer or is it the 24-7 online one?

Dont have a mac... cant help in detail ...

its probably better to call that "Sify" broadband and ask them what settings you need to run it, then configure it yourself in network in system preferances. Doubt theres a need for a dialer if its broadband unless its some weird ISP.

Back on windows I used a dialer for ATT DSL, but now on my mac I just have it configured in network (sys prefs).

Try to type this in the command line:

java -jar <file.jar>

I couldn't download the file, but that should work - assuming you have a JavaVM installed in your OS.
