[help] Windows Explorer & opening folders

Few weeks ago i installed kabal's Finderbar but after a while i found some of its aspects lacking/annoying and decided to uninstall it.

After i uninstalled it i noticed each time i double-click a folder it open it in Windows Explorer. Then if i try to open a folder inside the first one, it again opens it in WE AND opens it in new window.

I went to Folder Options to check and everything was set correctly (Open each folder in the same window and show common tasks). I went to check the registry and i couldn`t find any trace of Finderbar that could be causing this problem. I tried to ignore this since my XP install is 2 months old but it has become so annoying that i`m close to formating and re-installing Windows.

So i`m asking for help before i start the boring task of re-installing Windows. Is there any way i could get my folders to open within the same window AND open as normal folders, not as Windows Explorer windows?

PS i did read the Finderbar thread and tried all the reg. keys but none worked. Even tried to re-install Finderbar and uninstall it but to no effect.

Go to Control Panel and Open Folder Options Dialog.

On File Types Tab, Find 'Folder' for File Types.

Probably 'Open' is set Default.

I remember None was set Default there before installed it.

It is wished this hits.

ps. I use Kabal's Finderbar and 'explorer' is set Default.
