I open the samuraize client. the config file loads... it shows the images i want but it says 'no script activated' ... or something of that sense. I know this is a '****ie' questions, but I really want this to work, it's a convenient program, it's gotta be worth it!

Deskmod have som configs, but the best are on Samurize`s own page.. ( down rigth now)
I think there was one danish page, www.samurize.dk or something that had som good scripts
@datafr0g: probably, you had a "Not yet executed" message, that Samurize returns when a script in your config cannot get its imput from Internet or wherever and therefore, execute.
Well, first of all, if your script takes the imput form the net, you should be connected 
It should work, but sometimes (like in my case with weather script) it seems some magic is needed.
Oh, and the most important, check the script to be sure that the evrey reference in it to the Samurize directory matches with the path where you installed Samurize in your puter.

Yeah, both Samurize and Deskmod are not functional, but you can search trough the board (there ae some not too old threads) and if you have no luck I could send you any of my configs (I have a couple or three tough).
Well I got another skin to test.
The calender, time, mem usage and network usage all work..
the weather does not... I'm assuming it's a problem in the desktopweather.vbs script everything says 'not yet executed' what do i do now?
When you extracted the weather script, was there a "Readme" file? If so, take a look to it and follow the indications. If you are not able to figure out how the script works, you can send it to me.
Will be great if you guys can post a link to d/l configs n scripts here..
Most of the thread I found around are old version of Samurizes...
did you change the zip code or location? did you try testing the script? i had the same "not yet executed" error and when i tested mine, i got an error like: "invalid procedure call or argument: 'Mid'" and someone said that maybe the script was messed up. so i unzipped a fresh one, made the necessary changes, and it worked again!
or maybe you're using an old weather script for the 0.63 version? weather scripts are always weird for me, haha. i was happy when i could get mine to work.

hey i'm having the same problem too "not yet activated"
i've got a LAN connection and i followed the directions in the weatherplus script
i also went to the weather interceptor place to get my ID and all that and still no luck
if anyone know whats going on lemme know, even better if someone could email me their whole config files including the weather.vbs and the .xml stuff. just so i can compare with my script and try find where i went wrong
