yeah, check a fresh, untouched (legit) install of XP (I know it's in SP1, they might have taken it out of SP2), and in the All Programs menu there's a link for the website.

They have Adobe and Macromedia products on there that rival their own new graphics program, Acrylic.

They have other games besides Halo.

They have over 100 word processing products besides Microsoft Word (and their Office suite)!

And OMG, look at those security programs, over 7,000!

AIM, Yahoo!, and even GoogleTalk!

God... they have everything there. It's a marketplace for products that run on Windows. It's not a marketplace of Microsoft products, or even products they necessarily like. Relax.
