i dont remember the exact path, but do a "search" through the registry (using regedit) for something like "wallpaper" or "background" (or look for the default path unless its something generic like C:\Windows\System32). when you find the key about wallpaper, enter the value as whatever the path of your folder is. and keep looking through, because there is usual 2 entries (one is the system value, and the other is for the specific user thats logged on), but changing the first might change the second automatically.
if something didnt make too much sense
, just ask me again, hehe ![]()
try this dude ...............c:\ windows\web\wallpaper.............
this is the location for xp
uhhh... i think he knows that, but he wants to know how he can change it...
sakasune is probably right, because all special folders have their directories stored in the registry...
hmm... I did a search for "C:\\Web\Wallpaper" in the registry and did nor get any result. What could this mean?
...must copy and paste your wallpaper in ... c:\ windows\web\wallpaper
and select your desktop wallpaper in Display Properties>Desktop
...after you dont have to click browse all the time
Yep, that is an option, but I rather changing the folder where Windows looks into for wallpapers than copying my wallpapers to that folder.
