[Help] Stand-By button grey

ok when i wanted to turn off my computer, the stand by appears grey and

i dont want to turn it off i wanna leave it on stand-by

i just formated my computer and i dont feel like doing it again

and installing windows xp all over again so how can i make it appear

???

dude, patience.....if someone knows, they'll help you out. Bumping your own thread will just get it closed.

dont know about the standby being grayed out but...

if you right click and go to "Properties"

- Click on the "Screen Saver" tab

- Click on the "Power" button (assuming u have one?)

- Click the "Advanced" button

Then it should give you the option of when you hit the power button on your computer ... it will shut down ; Stand By; etc.
